Double Puc becomes another Bristol B Corp

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Double Puc has officially become a Certified B Corporation, joining a growing community of businesses using their operations as a force for good. We achieved certification in October 2025, with an overall score of 86.5, reflecting strong performance across governance, environmental, and worker impact areas.

A Milestone for Our Mission

Since opening our first café in 2021, our goal has always been simple: to bring purposeful hospitality to Bristol. Whether it’s your morning coffee at The Eye, a lunchtime meeting at The Crescent, or a day out at We The Curious, we want every Double Puc experience to blend great food, warm service, and thoughtful impact.

Over the past few years, we’ve grown to operate several venues across the city — from workplace cafés and visitor attractions to corporate catering and events. We’re proud to serve thousands of people every month, and even prouder to do so with ethics at the heart of every decision.

Building on Our Ethical Roots

Double Puc was founded by Griff Holland and Ed Brown, who previously co-founded Friska, a national café brand known for its strong ethical principles. That same belief — that doing the right thing is also good business — continues to guide Double Puc today.

Becoming a B Corp isn’t the finish line for us. It’s a foundation to build on — a promise to keep improving, stay transparent, and continue finding ways to make hospitality a more sustainable, fair, and joyful industry.
